Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible
wildandev.tech is the controller of the personal data described here. For enquiries, corrections or deletion requests, write to support@wildandev.tech.
2. What data the Software sends us
When the Software validates a Voucher, it transmits the following over HTTPS:
| Field | What it is | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| code | Your voucher, e.g. SNTX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX |
Identifies which licence to validate. |
| machine_id | SHA-256 of machine ID, one MAC address and the hostname. | Enforces the one-node-per-licence binding. A one-way hash, but stable and machine-identifying. |
| hostname | Optional node hostname, if your build sends it. | Lets us identify a node in support conversations. |
| IP address | The public address of the request. | Rate limiting, abuse investigation, and as a rough geolocation hint. We store the truncated form. |
| user agent | The requesting client identifier. | Distinguishes the daemon from browser traffic and from probes. |
3. Records we create about licences
When you or an operator uses the Portal, we record:
- the voucher code, plan, issue date and expiry date;
- the customer name, email, order reference and price you supply when ordering;
- activation and release events per node, with timestamps, the machine fingerprint and the request IP;
- an audit trail of operator actions such as issue, revoke, extend and delete;
- messages you send through the contact form, including the email address you provide.
4. What we never receive
The Software does not transmit, and we do not hold:
- your panel source code, database contents, or configuration files;
- your game server files, backups or customer uploads;
- Pterodactyl user records, API keys, or player data;
- your SSH keys, server credentials or any secret other than your voucher code.
The Software reads panel and database data locally on your host to do its job. That data stays on your host. The only thing it sends outward is the licence traffic listed above.
5. Why we process it, and our lawful basis
We process this data to:
- perform the licence contract — deciding whether a Voucher is valid, unexpired, unrevoked and free to bind to a node;
- prevent fraud — detecting Voucher enumeration, brute-force activation and code redistribution;
- secure the service — rate limiting and investigating abuse of the Portal;
- meet legal obligations — accounting and tax records for orders.
Because a licence cannot be issued or validated without it, this data is necessary rather than optional. If you object, the consequence is that we cannot issue or honour a licence to you.
6. How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Machine fingerprint and activation history | For the life of the licence, plus 24 months |
| Rejected activation attempts | 12 months |
| Node bindings already released | 24 months from release |
| Order, invoice and accounting records | 7 years, where tax law requires it |
| Contact form messages | 24 months, or until the matter is closed |
| Server access logs | 90 days, then rotated out |
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with:
- Our hosting provider, which hosts the Portal and processes data on our instructions under a written agreement.
- Professional advisers — accountants and legal counsel — where needed to comply with our obligations.
- Law enforcement or a regulator, where we are legally compelled to disclose it.
- A successor, in the event of a sale or merger of the business, subject to this Policy continuing to apply.
We do not disclose licence data to other licence holders, and we do not use it for profiling.
8. International transfers
The Portal is served over TLS and may be hosted outside your country. By using it you accept that your data is processed wherever our infrastructure runs. We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required. Your own node contacts the Portal directly, so if your node is in another country the request originates there.
9. Security
We apply the following controls:
- HTTPS with modern TLS for all traffic; the daemon verifies the server certificate.
- A shared-secret header on every licence endpoint, compared in constant time.
- Per-IP rate limits on the licence API and the voucher checker.
- Session-based operator authentication with regenerated identifiers and hashed passwords.
- Soft deletion of licences so that records are recoverable rather than destroyed.
- Audit logging of operator actions.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data we will notify you and any competent authority as required by applicable law.
10. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to:
- access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete data where we have no overriding legal reason to keep it;
- object to, or restrict, processing based on legitimate interests;
- ask for a portable copy of the data you gave us;
- withdraw consent, where consent was the basis we relied on.
Because licence validation depends on the machine fingerprint, deleting it means we can no longer confirm which node a Voucher belongs to, and the Voucher may be treated as unbound. Send requests to support@wildandev.tech; we aim to respond within 30 days.
11. Cookies
The public pages set no tracking cookies. If you sign in to the operator panel, a session cookie is set strictly to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery; it contains no identifier beyond the session. No analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking scripts are used anywhere on this site.
12. Children
The Software is infrastructure software and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced on the Portal with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Portal after that date constitutes acceptance. The version in force at the time of a given collection governs that collection.
14. Contact
Privacy questions and requests: support@wildandev.tech, or through the contact form. Please include the voucher code if your request concerns a specific licence.
